Beer Bread

3 cups self-rising flour
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 (12 oz) can beer (domestic works better)

Combine ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix well. Pour mixture into a buttered bread/loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, or until bread sounds hollow when "thumped."

Best served hot, with real butter!
